What CRECA is

CRECA is a group of independent commercial real estate capital advisory firms, formed in 2012. Every office is separately owned and run by principals in its own market. There is no head office and no house product.

Members collaborate and share market information with each other. A sponsor working with one office has the resources and reach of the whole network.

02 — What it gives you

Why it matters on your deal

A regional advisory firm sees the lenders that call on its own market. That is a narrower view than it looks: a life company active on industrial in the Southeast may never call on Hartford, and a debt fund that has just raised may be looking for exactly your asset in a market you do not cover.

Through CRECA we work alongside member firms in fourteen other markets and share market information with them. When we take your deal to market, we are drawing on more than our own phone log.

National capital, local execution

The lender list is national. The person underwriting your deal, walking the asset and sitting in the closing is in Connecticut.

A principal, not a branch

Every member firm is owned by the people who run it. There is no regional manager to escalate to and no internal referral to route around.

Members collaborate and share market information across the network, so our view is not limited to the lenders who happen to call on Connecticut.
