Brian Walsh

Brian Walsh

Managing Partner

Biography

Brian advises commercial real estate owners and investors on debt and equity capital across a broad range of property types and transaction profiles, with a primary focus on New England. His experience spans multifamily, retail, industrial, office, mixed-use and special situations, with capital sourced from banks, debt funds, agency lenders, CMBS platforms, insurance companies and private capital. That breadth of execution allows him to assess a financing assignment across the full capital markets and identify the structure and lender best suited to the asset, sponsor and business plan.

Prior to North Sound Capital, Brian spent nine years at Boston-based EagleBridge Capital, where he led the firm’s Connecticut office and originated, underwrote and placed debt and equity across a wide range of commercial real estate transactions. Before EagleBridge, he spent twelve years at Bank of America, most recently as a senior underwriter on large loan transactions and earlier on technology and credit risk process design initiatives. Those years on the credit side of an institutional lender continue to shape how he structures and positions transactions today.

Brian holds an MBA from the University of Connecticut School of Business and a bachelor’s degree from Keene State College.

Josh Gorman

Josh Gorman

Managing Partner

Biography

Josh brings more than two decades of commercial banking and business development experience, with a background spanning commercial real estate, business banking and middle-market finance. He has worked with privately held companies, real estate owners and institutional partners to deliver financing solutions across a broad range of credit needs, drawing on extensive experience navigating bank products, internal credit processes and broader relationship-based capital solutions.

Prior to North Sound Capital, Josh spent more than seventeen years with Wells Fargo across two tenures, most recently serving as Senior Vice President and Executive Director of Business Development for Commercial Banking in New England. In that role, he worked across commercial real estate, business banking and middle-market relationships, coordinating with industry specialists and product partners to deliver financing solutions.

Between his Wells Fargo tenures, Josh served as Regional Executive and Commercial Banking Team Leader at United Bank and as Senior Vice President in Business Banking at Bank of America. His career has given him a lender-side perspective on how commercial banks evaluate relationships, structure credit and make capital decisions — experience that now informs his approach to advising clients and positioning transactions in the market.
